Cobalt Blue
The striking royal blue colour that runs through this collection was inspired by a pair of candle holders found in a charity shop in north London. Jianhui once worked at some of London’s famous markets such as Portobello and Spitalfields, where he would sell antiques. He developed an eye for finding unusual things and started to make contemporary jewellery out of vintage materials and scraps. “I love making things that take on another life,” he says. Using recycled materials and sustainable methods have remained his trademark from the very beginning of his designing career.
